Surnames: Collinsworth, Lee, Dooley, Renolds/Reynolds
According to the 1900 Melrose, Nacogdoches Co., TX, census, Joel Collinsworth, b. ca 1831/1832 Pike Co., AL, had been married to his 2nd wife, Mattie, for about 5 years. Mattie was b. Aug 1856 MS and had born 8 children w/5 still living.

Mattie had two known marriages before marrying Joel Collinsworth, but there could have been more. She married Unknown Dooley, b. MS, father of Susie Dooley, b. Jan 1886 AR, and maybe 6 other children. She had one daughter, Willie, b. May 1891 AR, by Unknown Renolds/Reynolds, b. IL.

Joel Collinsworth m. Lucy Ann Lee, b. ca 1837 GA (Butts Co.?), d. 16 Mar 1904 Nacogdoches Co., TX, on 2 Jun 1857 in Nacogdoches Co., TX. They divorced prior to 1895 or thereabouts and he married Mattie.

I'm trying to help a paternal cousin find his Collinsworth family, so I'm not directly related to these folks. He would like to know where his g-grandparents, Joel and 1st wife, Louisa Ann 'Lucy' Lee Collinsworth, are buried and would like to have any information on their descendants.

He is also interested in knowing whether Joel and Lucy Collinsworth adopted a boy named Charles McDow/McDowell Collinsworth or was he actually a son born to them late in life. Charles listed his DOB as 13 Jun 1873 on the 12 Sep 1918 WWI Draft Registration Card. His wife's name was Dona.

I'm hoping someone with knowledge of any of the folks can help provide some information.

Thanks,
VRB
