Researching the Seaman family in Palo Pinto County. Loren Elbert Seaman m. Georgia Pollard Dec., 1888. They had at least 2 sons (possibly 3), Orland Russell Seaman (b. 1890) & Henry Seaman (1897). Georgia died probably around 1900, but I don't know in which county.
In 1903, Loren married Stella ?? -- again, I don't know where they married, but possibly in the same county where Georgia died. Loren & Stella had at least 4 children, Bettie, Loren Jr., Joseph and Mand (not sure on this name). Stella died Jan. 27, 1926.
At the time of his death in 1937 in Palo Pinto County, Loren was married to a third wife, Olivia.
Loren Seaman was born in Mississippi around 1866, his father's name was H.E. Seaman and his mother was Patience Powell.
Loren was the owner of the Set Ranch in Palo Pinto County. His two older sons, Orland & Henry did work on this ranch for a number of years.
Loren and his son Orland were prominent citizens of Mineral Wells for many years. Son Henry lived in Colorado for a long time. They are all buried in Palo Pinto County.
If you have any information regarding any of these Seaman's, I would like to hear from you. I'll certainly share any info that I have.
