Death certificate indicates G J Neill died Jun 17 1942 in San Angelo, TX and buried in Ft Stockton, TX. Any ideas which cemetery he is in? Occupation shown on death certificate is "Constable".

Estelle Bullard born 16 Mar 1871 in Texas died 4 April 1950 in Dallas, Tx. 4 Apr 1950. She is buried in Pecos, Tx - but I cannot find the cemetery. Her husband was Will Hubbard and was deceased prior to 1850. They had two sons: Will Hudson and Edwin Hudson.
Any info is appreciated.

My husband is the great grandson of James William Merchant and Elizabeth Harris Merchant.His grandfather was James M. Merchant, older brother of Carroll Lynn Merchant. We would love to hear from other descendants of James William, including those decended from Caroll Merchant, Sarah Ann, Elizabeth, Mary Jane (m. Charles), Anna (m. Garrett), Martha (m. Burt), Cauzada/Cansada (m. Padgett), Hasentina (?), Ada, George Murphy, Henrietta and Mollie (m. Briggs).

My husband, Donald J. Merchant, never knew anything about his Merchant kinfolk, because his father died when Don was just 5 years old. My wife and I hope to visit Pecos County in a few weeks and would like to know locations we can research. We want to find her father and uncles birth records, 1910 Federal Census residence legal descriptions and property locations matching Texas Land Abstracts we've found on Ancestry.com. Census and Land Abstracts are in Brewster County but suspect her father may have been born in either Pecos city or Pecos County?

Relationship to wife:
Grandfather: Courtney Holstun b.1872 Louisiana (1910 Cen HOH)
Grandmother: Annette Holstun b. 1877 Mo (1910 Cen Wife)
Father: Courtney Pecos Holstun b. 3 Nov 1905 Tx(1910 Cen Son)
Uncle: Ebert Holstun b. 10 May 1909 Tx(1910 Cen Son)

Edwin John RIXSE and Grace Rebecca Oneth were German. They were not the decendents of Slaves.
Their grand-daughter and I have been friends for over 55 years. They are both buried in the Cemetery in Fort Stockton TX., Pecos Co. There are gravestone pictures on the Texas, Pecos County, Genweb site.

I have information regarding a part of the family that I'd love to share in exchange for information on later generations. The parents were William G. Dees and his wife Sarah Barthana. They had 14 hildren according to the 1900 Census, but only 12 were living then

of 1971. He was originally from Opp, Covington County, AL.
He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. We have been told that he lived 'somewhere' in Texas.

George W. McGlothlin

I am looking for information on my ggreat grand father George W McGlothlin. He was the son of William and Jane McGlothlin born 1845 in Mo. He married Sarah Jane Savage. They divorced before 1880. They had one child George W. Jr. born 1867 he married Eliza Jane Hardin. I have a copy of Benjamin Franklin McGlothlin George sr. brothers obit which says his brother lived in west texas any ideas some one might have would be a big help in finding him. As for his son George Jr. the last I have been able to find him is the 1910 Brown co census. Eliza died in 1914 and the children went to live with there older sister and he is now where to be found he may have gone to where his father was. I have been looking for these two men and have found little.

Willa Gray Johnson married in Sheffield, Pecos County. Once to Leigh Burleson Harkey. I don't have a date, but it was about 1925-1930. He was killed in a fight, or a race, or somehow, in July 1931. Willa married again, around 1932, to Austin L. "Cot" Schwalbe. Any information on either or both of these marriages would be a huge help. Could someone please check for me?

At time of death was married to (2nd wife)Alva Rebecca Phillips Bowman with 4 children with youngest about 2 yr old. Have been told he went to Pecos Co from Runnels Co for his health.
