Surnames: Rhodes, Waters, Bell
I am a volunteer researcher for the Texas Peace Officers Memorial. Dallas Morning News (26 Sept 1889) reported that Tyler Co Constable WATERS and Polk Co deputy sheriff RHODES were killed attempting to arrest John BELL. I would like information on Deputy Sheriff RHODES, date of birth, place of burial, family history, disposition of case against BELL, or any info on WATERS (will post on Tyler Co web site also)
