This is a story my grandfather (John William Head) told me about his great uncle John Quncy Head. John Quncy Head died in 1930, grandfather was 14 at the time. John Q. was buried in the Coupler Cemetery so it says on his death cert.

Can't find the said cemetery. Not sure if it spelled right?

Also could be buried at the Manuel Cemetery?

My grandfather stated later on that the little cemetery was located in a farmers field at Goodrich,Texas. The farmer took a tractor and pushed all the gravestones into a old well to get rid of all trace's of it!!!!! So he could use the area to farm on.

Shame on this person.....

The location of this cemetery is lost somewhere under a farmers field.......

Story from:

John William Head (1916-2004) and George E. Wolf Jr.(Love you Grandpa....)
