My wife's great aunt, Avah Arnold, married Jim Boles in Snider, Scurry County, Texas prior to 1920. They are on the 1920 census living there. They moved to California and worked on cattle ranches in the Fresno/Clovis areas. NO children were born to this union. Jim Boles died in 1939 in Los Angles and is buried there. She later married Otto B. Kirby and lived to be 101 yrs old. She is buried in Fresno with her second husband.
Avah Arnold Boles Kirby gave my wife all her old pictures that appear to be of the Boles family in Scurry County. We would be willing to share them with members of the Scurry County Boles family. At the very least we would like to have help identifying the subjects.
