Classification: Query
My name is Jackie Russell, I live in Aberdeen, Mississippi, and I am in the Samford/Sanford lineage(we have both spellings of the name). We have a local family group, of about 4 of us who are doing a lot of research on our Sanford line. Thomas Jasper Sanford is my GGGGGgrandfather, and 2 of his descendants , William M. “little Billy” Samford 1777-1867 and Samuel G. Samford 1800-1861 migrated to Shelby County, Texas. I have found a lot on the Shelby County Web site. But still have loose ends on some of their descendants. Most of our direct lineage stayed in the Alabama and Mississippi area. I have a lot of information and pictures on our bunch, plus our group has transcribed several cemeteries with family in the North Mississippi and North Alabama area. In fact my wife and I are fifth cousins, our great grandfathers were brothers(George W. “Nub” Sanford & Samuel Sim Sanford). I have included a outline descendant sheet of Thomas Jasper Samford family and a Geneology report of William M. “Little Bill” Samford, and Samuel G. Samford. Let me know if you would like to swap information. Jackie Russell, 50028 Old West Drive, Aberdeen, Mississippi 39730. E-Mail jr39730@yahoo.com. Ph.# (662) 369-9816. Looking forward to hearing from you. Jackie N. Russell
