We are looking for anyone knowing of Simeon Wallker and Edith Walker and their kin. Simeon was born 1775 abt. in Virginia he married Edith and they had children born in Tennessee - some who married and moved away but they ended up together again in Texas.Simeon Walkekr is on the tax lists for Shelby County as well as showing on the 1850 Shelby County Census with Pargetty McCoy (daughter) her two sons Newton Jasper McCoy age 4and Simeon Walker McCoy age 2 and Simeon Walker age 75.Edith Walker shows up with John Inman and wife Prudence (another daughter). The known or probable children are:
Sarah Pearl Walker who married John D. Merchant
Prudence Walker who married John Inman
Zachariah C. Walker who married Elizabeth
William Carroll Walker who married Nancy
Claiborn Walker who comes from TN to TX with Merchants and dies or disappears.
Mary Walker who marries Joe Walker
Lucinda Walker who marries James English
Pargetty Caroline Walker who marries John McCoy
