Howdy from Austin, TX. I sent you a detailed note to the email listed on the 23rd and re-sent again today 10/26. Yes, we are of the same generation removed from William Miner Henson and Mary Green-Henson as they are my great-great-grandparents also. Still looking for siblings and parents of William Miner Henson however, I have found nothing on him before the 1840 US census from Blount County, AL. As I recall 1840, 1850 census pegs his DOB to be 1807, however 1860 census shows he shaved five years off his age. Probably looking for a younger wife after Mary Green-Henson died June 1860. William Miner Henson married Salley McGraw and they had his 17th child, Andrew? Henson a son 1862. W.M. Miner died 1866 Smith County, TX buried Ashbury Cemetary.
