Illness Fatal to Visitor in Cozart Home Early Today
Mrs. BELLE DILLARD of Ranger died this morning at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. AUSTIN COZART of 500 N. Court. She had been a visitor in the Cozart home and was ill a short time. At time of death, she was 76. Funeral services will be held at the Morris funeral home at Ranger Wednesday with Rev. MASSAGEE of the First Baptist Church there officiating. Mrs. Dillard was born in Conway, Arkansas, Dec. 24, 1873, but moved to Texas at an early age, where she has spent most of her life. She is survived by her husband, J. E. DILLARD of Ranger; two daughters, Mrs. Cozart of Breckenridge, and Mrs. ROWENA PAYNE of Princeton, Texas; a son, GORDON WATSON of Corpus Christi, a sister Mrs. SUSIE BEAVERS of Ravia, Oklahoma; a brother, TOM PAYNE of Tishomingo, Okla., some grandchildren and great-grandchilren. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery at Ranger.
