I am looking for any info on an S A TIDWELL and HOUSTON OBEDIAH TIDWELL., who were supposed to have lived in duggouts on Double Mountain. I think this would have been around 1880-1890 for H. O. TIDWELL. I think S A TIDWELL was there earlier. I found that he had a land grant but I don't know the time frame.

H O came from Forsyth Co, GA. He was my husband's g-ggrandfather. Can anyone help? I know that H O TIDWELL owned a gin at Lanham Mills, near Glen Rose TX. Somervell TX. I have a lot of info from 1900 till now. Will Share.
