Thank your for your post. I have a great deal of family confusion concerning William Green Rogers. Family records show that he first married Cordelia StClair on April 1, 1875 and after having 3 children, left her and married her cousin (Merinda Winnie StClair) on August 2, 1885.

After having 2 more children, (one of which was my GGrandfather, Tilmon Sparks Rogers), he disappeared around 1890 from family records and stories. He was never mentioned during my childhood, but it was know that he was still alive. Merinda StClair lived around Bridgeport, Texas with a ton of other Rogers.

I found a William Green Rogers who later married Amy Hutchinson (around 1890) and I have a few of his children's names listed.

I also have a very old Photograph of William Green Rogers holding 2 children that I would be happy to email you.
