I am trying to find any descendants of Martha Peyton Johnson Roberts. My husband, Michael Cheek, is a descendant of her brother, John Randolph Cheek. Mike's Aunt Barbara Peyton, used to correspond with a Thelma Puckett in San Antonion, TX, but I understand that she came from Sonora and that other descendants live in your area also. I know that she died in 1993 and I would love to get in touch with her children or grandchildren. We have done a lot of Peyton research and would like to compare notes. Looking forward to hearing from anyone with information on her descendants. We know that the Historical Society has a small wooden chest which belongs to Martha Rebecca Peyton Johnson Roberts, so assume that someone there knows a little bit about this family.
