I am searching for a date of death for Jack Lamb (born circa 1893), a nationally known fisherman and author of _How To Catch Ol 'John Bass_ (1934), _Big Black Bass_ (1937), and _How To Catch Game Fish_ (1937).

Born in Caddo, Oklahoma in 1893, Lamb moved to Fort Worth in 1909 as an apprentice to a sign maker. He married Josephine Hood (born circa 1897) of Springtown, Texas, in 1915; to my knowledge they did not have any children. Lamb became an accountant for Gulf Production Company in 1920. During the 1930s and early 1940s, he gave exhibitions sponsored by Gulf throughout Texas and the nation on bait and fly casting.

I would appreciate any additional information about Jack Lamb, especially when he and his wife passed on. You may contact me via the discussion list or my e-mail address.
