His mother may have been a Martha but his father's 2nd wife Martha was not John H Bowman's mother. It does not tell who posted this information. Information also states that Pearl Wheeler was born 1882 and died in 1949. Someone named Troy Adams is tied to this information.

This J Boaman is enumerated with E Caroway male age 70 of SC, female Caroway age 65 of GA, J Caroway age 5 female AR, date is 7 Sept 1870 which would be after the stated birth of John H Bowman.
