Reading your posts on Yarrington. My great grandfather was Arthur Hudson Yarrington, son of Matthew Wyatt Yarrington of Richmond. Arthur came to Austin Texas where he married in 1885. matthew died in Richmond in 1906. pHis mother was Sarah Phoebe (Sally) Lester who died in Richmond in 1905. I also heard story about connection to Poe, but not how connected to my Yarringtons. Would love any information if you run across my Yarrinton names in your research. Kathy Totten
