BARBER, DORA - Cpl. Dora Barber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Barber, Gilmer, attended East Mountain HS. Entered WAC in 1943, trained in Arkansas and Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. Served in England and France. Awared ETO Ribbon with Star, GC and Victory Ribbons. Discharged in 1945.
BARBER, DON - Cpl. Don Barber, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Barber, Gilmer, husband of Lucille Webb, attended Gilmer HS. Entered Army in 1942, trained at March Field, Cal. Served in USA
BARBER, JAMES W - AMM 3/c James W. Barber, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Barber, Gilmer, husband of Virginia Falcone, attended Gilmer HS. Entered Navy in 1943, trained in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Florida. Discharged in 1946
BARBER, MORRIS - Baker 1/c Morris Barber, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Barber, Gilmer, attended Gilmer HS. Entered Navy in 1942, trained in San Diego, Farragut, Idaho and San Bruno, Cal. Served in Guam. Awarded ATO, APO with 1 Star, GC and Victory Ribbons.
BARBER, NORA - Sgt. Nora Barber daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Barber, Gilmer, attended East Mountain HS. Entered WAC in 1943. Trained in Arkansas and Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. Served in England and France. Awarded ETO Ribbon with Star, GC and Victory Ribbons. Discharged in 1945.
BARBER, PAUL - Lt. Paul Barber, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Barber, Gilmer attended ETSTC. Entered Army in 1937, trained at Mitchell Field, N. Y. Served in Okinawa and Japan. Awarded Victory Medal with Star, ATO and APO Ribbons with Star
