The Pfeifer land on FM 359/592 is the site of a family cemetery which used to belong to Stasny/Svach family, considered part of Sunnyside Community. According to Waller County records, and three tombstones found on site, buried there are:

Frank (Frantisek) Svach b.January 29, 1857 in Frystak, Moravia d. August 23, 1923
Theresa Jarma Svach b. May 9, 1867 "Austria", d. January 2, 1922 (Frank's second wife)
Mollie Svach b.Feb.12, 1902 d. March 12, 1904
Adolph Svach b.March 30, 1893 d. June, 1911 (Sokol accident) county records & old Sokol newsletters.

In 2001 cement tombstones for Frank, Theresa and Mollie were found in the plot. Frank's was badly damaged and partially missing. The plot was unfenced. It was underwater at the time from heavy rains. We moved the tombstones under the nearest fence for what protection that might give from cattle, etc. My intent is to have the plot fenced and then recorded as a cemetery and historical site. That action has been impeded by family health problems and other things that always seem to take precedence. Is there any assistance available from the genealogy society? I'd like to at least get it recorded as existing in county records. I can take you to it, or have a local cousin who lives in area and who led me to it, take you to it. Pat Lyon
