James Clark moved his family from Missouri in 1828, and obtained a league of land on New Years Creek. The league grant later to Arabella Harrington (on which land Brenham is located) refers to its adjoining that of James Clark. Would like help in locating that land on a map.

Also will swap info on the ancestors and descendants of James Clark.

He and his sons and a son-in-law (Robert G. Welch) fought for Texas Independence.
