Am searching for information about Edward L. WRIGHT Sr. and his wife, Myrtle FAIN Wright. They lived at 600 Travis St, Wichita Falls, Wichita Co, in Oct 31 1930 when my father Edward Lawrence Wright Jr. was born. He was their only child and they divorced about 1932 or 33.

Edward Sr's parents were Edward Robert Wright and Jettie GRANT Wright. His siblings were Floyd, Lloyd, Edna, Hubert and Robert. Edna later married a man named Bowman TAYLOR and moved to Van Nuys CA. Ed Robert raised and bought horses and met Jettie (Graunt) supposdly in KY. Jettie's siblings were Verdona and Leona and Verdona was murdered in Ft. Sill OK. Jettie was suppose to have written some books either about Tarbaby or under the name of Tarbaby. They were members of a gun club in Cache OK.

Myrtle Fain Wright was born in Alvord TX in 1913. Her parents were A.W. and Lizzie Fain. Siblings were Otis, Palmer, Kenneth and an unknown sister. They lived in Burkburnette TX for some time. Myrtle remarried in 1934 to a L.C. Wright and died of TB in Clinton OK at the age of 27.

Edward Wright Sr was born in Grapevine TX. Dates conflict whether 1904 or 1890. He was a trucker and had a crippled leg. He remarried several times after Myrtle. Some of their names were Faye, Odabelle and finally Verda. He died in 1967 at the Big Spring State Hospital.
