Surnames: Heinzke, Berg, Koch/Cook, Aerni, Kaase, Kosik, Schmidt, and many more
While going through a scrapebook of my mothers I found a newspaper clipping with the names of 28 men leaving for the service. My father was among them and on his notice card he was to report to the Taylor Post Office on Dec. 3, 1943. I do not know if this was in the paper on the 3rd or 4th of Dec. The surnames as leaving are:
HICKS, WELCH, NEWMAN, KROPP, ZALESKY, WEST, MIKSCH, BOGAN, BRADY, SIPPEL, KRIVACKA, WERNLI, MILDER, TURNER, ESCHBERGER, ROBERTS, RANSOM, HEINZKE, BARKER, SULLIVAN, FAYKUS, SKRHAK, LAWRENCE, MUNDKOWSKY, SELUCKY, KLEPAC, SOLIS, & KRAPOTA. I have tried attaching a small copy of it but it will not go through. If you would like more info or a copy of it please let me know.
