Classification: Query
Surnames: DAVIS, BOYD, WEEMS
Hillary Foster DAVIS was one of the earliest settlers in Wood County, arriving before county formation. He was enumerated on the 1850 Van Zandt census & 1860, 1870, 1880, and 1900 Wood County census. He was married twice, the second time to my g-g-grandmother:

Marriage 1: Sarah A (?) abt 1847 (Sarah apparently died between 1864-1870)
Children (all probably born in Wood County):
Mary J, born. abt 1847
Sarah A, born. abt 1849
Amarilla M, born. abt 1851
William, born. abt 1852
Silvia, born abt 1854
Missouri, born abt 1857
Emily, born abt 1860
Alice, born abt 1862
Leathy, born abt 1864

Marriage 2: Emily Frances (WEEMS) BOYD on Dec 25, 1870
Children (all probably born in Wood County)
Lucy, born abt 1877
John F, born Aug 1881.

Emily Frances was previously married to James A BOYD, who died about 1864 in the Civil War.

I would be particularly interested in sharing information with descendants or researchers of his second family, but would like to connect with descendants of either family.
