Chief Petty Officer, Eugene W. Butler Jr. U.S. Navy (Ret.) passed away on April 26, 2003 at the age of 82. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas and had served in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years. Survivors include his wife: Virginia Butler, son; Eugene W. Butler III, daughters; Betty Jane Campbell and Barbara Sargent, 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 1, 2003 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home-N.E. located at 4631 Hondo Pass. Graveside service will be on Friday, May 2, 2003 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
