Anybody with any stories about H. A. Hamner, Indian fighter, editor of the newspaper "The White Man" and Civil War officer?
Supposedly he has several indictments in Parker County.
The information on him in "60 Years in Jack County" is false, as he was not lynched in 1860, but survived the entire war and moved to California, where he died in 1874.
Also, any information on Geo. W. Burrows, also of Weatherford, would be appreciated - he died in the early 20th century, had served under Captain Hamner
