James Wright born Texas Sept 1867 had a daughter named "Ercie" born June 1895 Texas. James' wife was named Alice born Texas Sept 1877 they were newly married about 1899 or before June 1900 not the mother of Ercie or James Enoch.

James Wright's parents were born in Alabama and they lived in McCulloch county Texas in June 1900 (census record). Ercie had a brother named "Enoc" Wright born Oct 1897.

James' mother Matilda Wright born AUG 1830 ALABAMA was also living with them. She stated she was married for FORTY EIGHT YEARS and that she had SIX CHILDREN LIVING. Matilda's statement also says her father was born in Georgia mother unknown. She died in 1923 buried Old Algerita Cemetery in San Saba county with her husband James Fayette Wright.

Joseph Charlie Srygley 15 Mar 1864 AL died in Abilene 13 Dec 1952 who was married to Virgin/Virgil Amelia Phillips 1869 AL - 11 Nov 1933 Abilene. Ella Smith reported on census record to be from Texas also buried in San Saba with her inlaws. James Wright married Ella Smith 14 May 1890 Bexar County....unknown if correct marriage.
