I am not related and was not part of the original discussion. That 1880 census reflects the County of Houston (think of Crockett). The metroplis of Houston is farther south and part of Harris County. Just a comment 'cause they did not remain in either place. You will not find them together after 1880 'cause the daughters and their father married prior to 1900, mostly in Bell and San Saba County. C. C. Cline wed N. E. Stewart, 3 Mar 1887 in Bell. That's reason to believe Piety was no longer among the living? Cicero Columbus Cline/Nancy E. Stewart had John Henry (ca. 1892) and George F. (ca. 1898). No doubt you are aware I. D. Cline wed W. E. Graham, 23 Mar 1890 in Bell? Clara M. Cline wed John Mckinnerney ca. 1892. Texana Cline wed P. W. Mitchell, 11 Dec 1898 in Bell. There are census records for everyone so I'll not deny you the "thrill of the chase"!
