Surnames: Buttars, Jardine, Heggie, Grover, Stewart, Griffin, Godfrey, Goody, Ravstein, Shumway, Thompson, Smith, Barson, Burt, etc.
It may be helpful to look at a recent newspaper extract compilation that covers Clarkston, Utah, from 1867 into early 1900 available on the Cache County GenWeb site (http://www.rootsweb.com/~utcache) under the link "Towns" and under "Clarkston" which has information on most of the surnames listed with a Clarkston connection from Buttars through Stewart. In addition the Clarkston census for 1870 and 1880 and information on the Martin Harris gravesite from mound to monument are also available.
