I believe we have been in touch in the past. Orange Warner was my great-grandfather's step-father. Orange married Mary Tyler Reed not long after she gave birth to Dewitt Clinton Reed in Montrose. I have been able to document much of Dewitt's paternal line but have yet to determine exactly what happened to his biological father.
