I am descended from Andrew Hill Burt through my grandfather, who was born near Pittsburgh, PA in 1926 but who emigrated to Scotland, the land of his parents' birth. This branch of the Paton family, and the Hill family, had moved between Scotland and the United States several times. I am a doctor here in Scotland.

I think that a great many people must be related to Burt, because of his several wives and many children; I wound imagine that Box Elder County, UT, has many relatives.
