Obituary: Maida Goulding Walton
Maida Goulding Walton, age 88, passed away Dec 29, 2000 at her home.
She was born July 30, 1912 to George Daniel and Gladys Young Goulding in Panguitch, UT. Married Elwin Rex Walton March 18, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1967. She was a LPN, member and past presi-dent of Garden Club of Fillmore, member of Utah Daughters of the Pioneers, faithful and active member of LDS church, serving many positions throughout her life. Also a seamstress and tailor.
Survived by sisters, Erna Murphy, Maxine Adamson; brother-in-law, Delbert Adamson; four grandchildren, Michael, Dayna, Darcie, Jack; nine great-grandchildren; numerous loving nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Sansing; son, Tyron; and two sisters, June Bird, Dawn Reynolds Atkin.
Services will be Wed. Jan 3, 2001, 11:30 a.m. at the Crescent LDS 28th Ward chapel, 11626 S. 300 E, where friends may call Tues. 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 S. State St. and Wed. at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, California.
