Harold Dee
Harold Dee, 89, passed away on June 8, 2001 in Salt Lake City, UT at the Highland Cove Nursing Center of causes incident to age.
Harold was born in Holland May 20, 1912, to Klaas Deelstra and Aukje Vander Pleug Deelstra. His family moved to Salt Lake City in 1922. Harold had two brothers Nicholas and Henry Deelstra and two sisters, Elizabeth Barton and Cora Beddeson all of whom preceded him in death.
He married Mae Palliser Lowther on July 19, 1933, She passed away January 12, 1978. They had two sons, Ronald and Robert. On August 5, 1979 he married Elverta Williams Henion Larsen, She passed away march 26, 2001 Survivors include Ronald H. (Charlene) Dee, of Salt Lake City, and Robert R. (Elizabeth-Ann) of Idaho Falls, ID, step-children, Carol Turner, (Glendora, CA), Jay (Joni) Henion, (Monroe, UT) Robert (Deanna) Henion (Reeds Spring, MO), Michael (Karin) Henion (Bigfork, MT); eleven grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
Harold owned and operated Harold Dee Screen Processing for 50 years, his creative work and artistic talent were seen all over the West.
Graveside services will be Wed, June 13, 2001 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park at 1:30 p.m. 3401 S Highland Dr. Friends and family may call 12:30-1:30 prior to services Family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Assoc.
