I called my dad and told him that I had gotten a response on the post. He did tell me that your grandmother was my grandmother's half sister also. My dad said that your grandmother moved from Monticello before he was old enough to remember, but he knew of her, his name is Louis, but when he was a kid they called him Gunny. He also said that he had a copy of the article celebrating Jose Gonzales's 100th birthday. It has some interesting family history in it. I went to church a few times with Patricia when I was a little girl. The last time I saw her was about a month before my grandmother passed away, which was two years ago today. Most of the family that I am aware of has moved away from Monticello. I visit the area once a year, my aunt Virginia lives near Monticello in Dove Creek, Colorado. I do have pictures of my grandmother Sulema and and of our great grandfather. My aunt Virginia actually has a wedding picture of great grandfather Gonzales's parents. Anyway, maybe you could tell me more of that side of the family - I don't know a lot about the family so it would be great to hear about - I am really excited to have found a relative.
