For a quick on-line history go to http://www.nw-utah-heritage.com/year04/winter04/articles/bla.... Rush Valley is a township and also http://www.nw-utah-heritage.com/year03/fall03/articles/bla_a....

St. John is a little bit hard to find on a map. If you follow I-80 west from Salt Lake about 30 miles west is the City of Tooele (pronounced like two-willah). From Tooele contiune south on state road 36 about 20 miles to find St. John. The communities of St. John and Clover make up what is known as the Town of Rush Valley. Not 100% positive but I believe incorporation took place around 1984.
