I am compiling a geneology of Four Generations of the John Sweat/Molly Marston Family. George Hyrum Sweat of Wasatch County was their son.
Does anyone know anything about the first wife of John Henry Sweat (b. 1856)? I have her name as Julia Madsen or Julia Hansen. She was the mother of Annie Elnora Sweat Humes Smith Turnbow (b. 19 Sep 1880 in Wallsburg, Wasatch, Utah).

I'm searching for any information on James Franklin Allred born October 22, 1832 in Monroe, Clay, Missouri, and died November 11, 1923 in Wallsburg, Wasatch, Utah.
James's parents were Martin Carrell Allred & Polly Heskit.
James married Jane Thompson McKenzie on July 1, 1860 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Jane Thompson McKenzie was born February 27, 1838 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, and died April 15, 1924 in Wallsburg, Wasatch, Utah.
Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated.

My Great Grandmother recently died and I am trying to do some family research. Her name was Daisy Dean Hatch at birth. She was born on Nov. 9, 1895 in Heber City, Wasatch, Utah. Her parents names were Joseph Clyde Hatch and Joanna Hathenbrook. I am trying to find out anything I can about her parents. The family was Mormon and I think that someone in our family has done genealogy on this side of the family, But I am having a hard time finding out anything. Could someone Please help me. P.S. My Great Grandmother married a man named Ralf G. Hick born on Jan. 16, 1893 in Vernal, Uintah, Utah.

You should check out the following website to be able to view death certificates, and some birth certificates on the archives website for Utah.

Go to http://www.historyresearch.utah.gov/
Then click on the menu option called "Subject Guides"
Select "Death Records"
Then click on the link for Death Records from 1905-1955
Then click on the index link.
Run a search on that page with last name first, first name.
A good majority of these records have a link back to the image of the death certificate.

I am researching the family of David Gillespie SWAPP and wife Margaret Calder SWAPP from Montrose, Scotland. I would like contact with any who may be of this line. Their son, Robert Valentine SWAPP was my g-g-gfather who was born in 1838.There are at least 2 after that named the same.

The Robert Valentine SWAPP born @1896 received a letter from Mrs.__ ROBINSON when he lived in Edinburgh in 1937. I think she wrote from Utah & they believed they were family connected. Is there someone who can shed light on this relationship - or any other SWAPP info on this line ?

I came across initials carved in sandstone rock that I aquired from a wall built on the back of our barn at our old home in Heber in the Lake Creek area. It was interesting and had the intitials J E L on it with the date April 1900 on it. It's a shot in the dark but if these sound familiar to anyone I would send picture.

Surname: Elizabeth Davies married Ephraim Jones in Glamorgan, Wales 1878. They lived in Salt Lake City and Heber, UT. Ephraim died in 1901 and Sometime after that Elizabeth married Mr. Johnson and lived in Wasatch County until 1927 when she moved to Butte, Montana. Her husband's name might have been Olie Johnson but I don't have any proof.

Elizabeth and Ephraim had a daughter Susie Winifred Jones born in 1882. She married Rudolph Garfield Whitehead in 1906 and moved to Montana in 1910. They had three children.
Ephraim's father Thomas also lived in Utah and is buried there. He was from Wales also but I'm not sure where he is buried. I found two Thomas Jones in the 1880 census. Thomas was a Mason and the census had one as a Mason. If that is the one, he married Pauline Christoffersen and died in Wellington, UT.

If anyone has information on these people please let me know. Elizabeth and Ephraim are my GGrandparents. My Grandmother died when I was seven so I don't know much about her family.
