Donna,
Thanks for the reply and info. It looks like we have come across the same information in our research. I too have traced my roots back to William recently, with the help of some New England Berrys that I have found and been in contact with.

It looks like we are both descendants of Samuel BERRY and Dorothy WILLEY. Myself through his son, Samuel, Jr. I would be happy to share what I have on my branch of the tree, and hopefully you can share with me Joanna's descendants. I would really like to know more about your book/source by William Richard Cutter. I just purchased a copy of "Berrys by the Beach" by Sylvia Fitts Getchell, which chronicles the life of our early Berry pioneers.

I have not yet researched the GRAY family, as I have been focusing on the Berrys right now. I do plan on it someday, and I think you are right, they were another early/pioneer New England family.

If it is easier you can email me at: peters.william@frontier.com

I hope to hear from you again soon.

Thanks,
Bill
