Surnames: Hurlburt, Odell
I just came across this posting and almost couldn't believe my eyes. I am also looking for the parents etc. of Ansel Hurlburt Odell. I spent a lot of time looking for the "Odell" ancetors (Odell is my maiden name) and it only recently occurred to me to check "Hurlburt."
I have lots of info on Ansel after he shows up in Wisconsin in 1840---buys 160 acres of land in 1841. Would love to share/exchange info.
