I believe I am a decendant of Amasa Adams, son of John. Amasa was married to Polly Davis and had a son, Franklin who was born in Swanton, VT. Shortely after his birth he moved with his parents, two siblings and his Grandfather, John, to East Aurora, NY. John died there and Amasa and Polly had 8 more children. Franklin married Dorothy Carr, they had a daughter, Ageline, and a son who died. They moved to Wisconsin, had Samuel, Moses, and Adrew. The family moved to Strawberry Point, Iowa in 1856 then in 1860 moved to Clayton, Iowa, Clayton County. Ageline died in 1860, Franklin died in 1862 and Samuel died at the battle of Stones River, Murfreesboro, TN in 1863.
