Hi Diana, I thought I recognized your name. We corresponded several years ago re the Platt/Grants of VT, NY, & WI. I've most likely already sent you the following (except the request just made) but will resend in case I've added something
Inscriptions from Fairfield VT Cemeteries pre 1851 as printed in “Some Early Records of Fairfield, VT” Gilbert Doane, pub Aug. 16, 1938 by the 150th Anniversary Committee
pg 36
Grant, Asa, d 6 Dec 1816, a 84 yrs
Grant, Ruth, his wife, d 5 Dec 1815, a 81 yrs [No Fairfield]

I checked what I have on Enosburg Cemeteries and found only 3 Grants.

Mississiquoi Cemetery Enosburg
Grant, Clarence W., b. 1900, d. 1966
Grant, Greta M., b. 1908, d. 1977

Enosburg Center Cemetery Enosburg
Grant, Laura Ann, d. 1 Sep 1835, age: 6yr 11mo

I also checked, Main St Cemetery, W Enosburg Cem., E. Enosburgh Cem. – no Grants

After a little searching I was able to locate just one child of Noah and Anna.

Son Joseph L Grant, lived in Richford until shortly after 1860 when he moved to Berkshire. He live there with wife Maria and children: Abbie (1862), Seth L (1864)
Henry (1867), Edwin (1869), Howard C (1872), Mary C. (1874). The couple remained here through 1900 after which no Grants are found in town. You’ll probably find Joseph and Maria buried there.

In the HILLSIDE CEMETERY in Richford (near the border crossing to Abercorn) I located some of Joseph’s children and grandchildren..
Abbie Grant(1862-1910) m. Benton Wilson (1857-1916)
Rev. Edwin Grant (1869-1941) m. Amelia Colcord (1871-1944)
Two of their children:
Paul Colcord Grant d. 12/29/1899 a 8 mos
Paula May Grant d. 11/13/1900 a 2 wks
Mary C. Grant (1874-1953) m. Hartley Emerson Kennedy on 9/28/1898. He was born 9/7/1874 Stukely Que and died at Richford 9/4/1952 leaving a son Grant Kennedy of Colchester VT, dau. Marion L. Kennedy of Everett, MA & Dorothy O'Gara of Alexandria VA.

I also believe that Noah & Anna had another daughter. Although name is difficult to read I believe it is Lucy b. abt 1837.

I am researching the LAWRENCE side of my husband's ancestry, so have a little information on the Noah GRANT-Anna LAWRENCE marriage. I have the same death dates for Noah and Anna and that both died in Richford, Franklin Co., VT. I too would like to learn their place of burial. This is the information I have regarding their children:Joseph Lawrence GRANT - born 9 Nov 1833, Vermont. Came to Berkshire, Franklin County, VT in Sept 1866 and was still residing there in 1891. Don't have his death date.Henry Skinner GRANT - born 20 Feb 1835, Vermont. He was in Dakota when last heard from. He is supposed to have died in a flood (date unknown).Lucy Ann GRANT - born 15 Jan 1837, Vermont. No other info.Amanda Eaton GRANT - born 5 May 1839, Enosburg, Franklin Co., VT. No other info.Benjamin Franklin GRANT - born 11 Mar 1841 in Enosburgh; died 3 April 1851 (location unknown).Fanny Emeroy GRANT - born 28 Jan 1843, Enosburg. Died 28 Oct 1890, Georgetown, Williamson Co., Texas.[The children's names, ages in 1850 and birth state are taken from the 1850 and 1860 Census records, Noah GRANT household, Richford, Franklin Co., VT. The other information is anecdotal and needs to be verified].Judy Lawrence [bcjudy@mac.com]
