WAS UP TO THE TOWN CLERK AND GOT THROUGH THE FIRST TWO BK LR. HAVE NOT FOUND THE MARRIAGE THAT I KNOW I SAW. MOST OF THOSE I SAW ONLY IDENTIFIED THE PARTIES AND WHERE THEY LIVED.
AS THERE WERE TIMES WHEN RECORDS WERE NOT IN DATE ORDER I WILL GO BACK AND GO PAGE BY PAGE ONE MORE TIME. IT ISN'T THAT DIFFICULT AS THERE ARE ONLY 4 BOOKS OF LAND RECORDS AND ONE BOOK OF TOWN AND SCHOOL RECORDS.

GEORGE WAS THE ONLY GRAGG IN STERLING IN 1810. ISAAC WAS THERE FOR A VERY SHORT TIME BETWEEN CENSUS' AND I HAVE YET TO FIND THOMAS ELECTED OR REFERENCED IN STERLING. BEGINNING ABOUT 1822 THERE IS A MCDANIEL GRAGG IN VARIOUS GOV'T ROLES AND DOING A FAIR # OF LAND TRANSACTIONS. I DIDN'T TAKE TIME TO COMPARE TO THE 1810 AD 1820 CENSUS TO EXTRAPOLATE WHETHER HE WERE GEORGE'S SON.
