I was at my father's home last weekend and unpacked some boxes that were passed down to him. Inside were many letters/legal documents/receipts from Leonard Gale - son of Ephraim Gale. Wells River, Vermont & early 1800s...

There are many of them - from 1811 through to the 1840s...

Are there any Gale descendants from this area here?

I would like to find a good home for these - they will probably go to the vermont historical society or genealogical society...
