I did a search for your Charles on Ancestry.
Did not find any info on his parents, other than father born England and mother born Canada, French.

Charles White was born February 1844 and died 19 August 1904 of an accidental skull fracture. He is buried in Section 10, Row F, No. 2
This is from the Sawtell, Los Angeles, California US National Home for Disabled Soldiers.
