Hey--thanks for the information. Leonard Woods is my great great grandfather through his daughter Bessie. I know Leonard was married before Mary Ann but never got divorced from his first wife [I've seen it as Sarah and Salome]. I found that out by reading his Civil War pension file. BUT I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR YOUR STORY!
I could never definitively link Leonard to James and Faithful, but I was sure he was their son.
Mary Ann Lott Cutcher was married to David Cutcher, who died during the Civil War. She married Leonard after the war. She had one child living at the time Andrew Jackson Cutcher.
I knew Leonard had a brother named Willard, who moved to Detroit. Are you still in the area?
It's so nice to hear from you! Let me know if you want to chat via email! I think this makes us 4th cousins!
