The Vermont State Archives (VSARA) are currently processing the admission and discharge records for the Vermont State Mental Hospital in Waterbury, Vermont. Due to flood last year, the records were delayed for processing.

Please contact the Vermont State Archives and request a search if you know of a relative that may have been in attendance at the hospital. The VSARA only has the admission and discharge books for the hospital.

The staff at VSARA are very helpful and response promptly to outside requests.
