Tootsie,

Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly!

Some of the Kneeland's stayed in Windsor, namely Edward who married Charity B Johnson and some of there children. They are both buried in the Cemetery at White River Junction. My branch comes from Edward's Brother Joseph (b. 1780) [Son of Joseph (1752-1828?) and Ruth Hartwell (1755-1804?) ]

Joseph (1780) and his brother David went West to Pennsylvania sometime after 1814 but I have a large gap before Joseph's son's show up in Pittsburgh. also Joseph never shows up in Pittsburgh so I do not know what happened to him.

I do have the references you mentioned from Tucker's book, there is another reference to Joseph H Kneeland on pg 317 in reference to the Vermont Militia in 1814 but i cannot seem to find anything else about Joseph H regarding military service anywhere.

The other 2 sources you found I had not seen, would it be possible to get some more information or direction on where i can find out more about them?

Thanks!!
Brian
