My great-grandparents were Leslie and Dora Mae Newell from Stockbridge, VT.
They had 2 daughters, Geraldine and Earline ( my grandmother).
Both daughters married Merriam brothers and are both currently living in Bridgewater,Vt.

Mother: Eliza Cowen
b. 1795
d. Oct 18, 1862 in Stockbridge

Joseph and Charlotte's children:
Nell (b. 1846)

Augustus ( b. 1850 in Stockbridge)

Willie ( 1856-1872)
Julian ( Feb. 1858)
Albert ( b. 1860)

Augustus married Nellie Rowe on June 21, 1873. His son was Leslie, my g-grandfather. I think there was a sister, Stella. I plan to visit my grandmother this summer and I will find if there are any other siblings.
