Seeking any information on the african american family of James Jackson b. 1825 and Louisa Jackson b. unknown. d. 1872 who lived in Scottsville, Va. They had several childred: Hewitt, Thomas, James Jr., Hudson, and Mary. James Jackson's second wife, Georgeann Taylor b.1854 had one son John b. 1874. I have looked everywhere and cannot seem to find them in Scottsville or anywhere in Albemarle County after the 1800 census. I appreciate any assistance.
