John Ray who died in 1748 in amelia co va and his will was probated in 1766 in Amelia co Va bought 154 acres from William Eckols or Echols in Amelia co Va. I do not know what year he boughtthe land. Would youhave a book that might show when he bought the 154 acres frfom William Eckols or Echols and where the land was located? Thanks, Ross
