The following mariages took place in Amherst or Nelson Co., VA:

Jesse Massie married Caroline S. Davidson
Thomas Massie married Martha Davidson
Robert Massie married Caroline E. Davidson (they are on the 1860 Nelson Co., VA census)

These Davidson women were probably all descendants of Giles Davidson who went from Buckingham Co., VA to Amherst after the Rev. War. Does anyone know who the parents of these three women were? Does anyone have any info on this Massie family? Thanks!
