Classification: Query
Hi, I posted a query about this on the Amherst Museum and Historical Society Facebook page and Holly, the director, gave this answer:

William Cabell surveyed 188 acres for Nicholas Neal on Feb 8, 1753, in Dutch Thoroughfare in branches of the Rockfish River (now Nelson County); on Feb 3, he surveyed 247 acres for the same Nicholas Neal on the branches of the Rockfish river adjacent to Jonothan Snyder and Captain Nevil; on Feb 10, Cabell surveyed 350 acres for Neal, on Glady Creek on the south side of the Rockfish. From this it would appear that the Dutch Thoroughfare was somewhere near the Rockfish, Glady [Gleady], and lands surveyed for Snyder and Nevil (but not necessarily patented). Hope this helps some!
