Barb, I listed the address found on the verso of the title page; sorry you didn't get a reply from them. I note also the following: "Reproduced from First Printing 1948 by Bob's Printing Service, Appomattox, Virginia. The reprint was done in 1995, and is about $50-60.

I actually found my copy of the reprint this past summer in the Appomattox Chamber of Commerce office; I feel certain they can advise you as to where you can find a copy. The original printing is very rare; one of the local antique shops had a copy - in poor shape - for $100, and I have noted other used copies for up to $600. When I go in that direction next, I'll see what I can find out for you.

If you'll tell me the names you are looking for, I'll send you what information is included. The book is not indexed, and is in several sections: Pictures and History of Leading Men and Women of Appomattox County; Alphabetical List of Families of Appomattox County; Gold Star World War II White; World War II Veterans White; same for 'colored'l World War I Veterans white and colored; Spanish American War veterans... it's 440 pages long, and it's something like 8-1/2" x 11". I'll get back to you as soon as I find something. You may want to know if your families are included before you invest in it.
